Delete your account
How to permanently delete your PostMantis account, what gets removed, and what does not.
You can delete your PostMantis account from the dashboard. Open Settings, go to Data removal and account deletion, type your account email exactly, and select Delete my account.
Account deletion is permanent
Deleting your account removes your PostMantis account and user-owned data stored by PostMantis. This action can't be undone.
Open Settings
Sign in to the PostMantis dashboard, then open Settings.

Review what deletion removes
The deletion section explains what PostMantis removes when deletion completes:
- your dashboard account, active sessions, and linked sign-in records
- API keys, connected profiles, provider tokens, posts, deliveries, uploads, and stored media assets owned by your account
Type your account email to confirm
Enter the email address on the account exactly as shown in the dashboard.
This confirmation step helps prevent accidental deletion.
Delete the account
Select Delete my account.
If the request succeeds, PostMantis signs you out and redirects you away from the dashboard.
What to check before you delete
- Disconnecting a profile is reversible. Account deletion is not.
- Cancel any active paid subscription first. PostMantis blocks deletion while a paid subscription is still active.
- Already-published posts on third-party platforms are not removed automatically. If content is already live on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, or another provider, remove it on that provider directly.
What PostMantis may retain
PostMantis aims to remove PostMantis-held account data when deletion completes. Some records may still be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
Examples can include billing or tax records, limited security logs, and deletion request records.
If you can't complete deletion in the dashboard
Use the privacy contact listed in the Privacy Policy if you need deletion help or need to submit a manual privacy request.
Include the account email address and a short description of the issue so the request can be verified and handled faster.
