Terms for using PostMantis

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of PostMantis (the "Service"), operated by postmantis ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of connected third-party platforms is also subject to those platforms' own terms, policies, and technical requirements, including any provider-specific terms that apply to social publishing APIs.

• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials, API keys, and tokens.
• You are responsible for all activity performed through your account.

PostMantis provides a dashboard and API that help customers connect authorized social accounts, schedule posts, publish content, manage media workflows, and track delivery outcomes across third-party social networks.

We do not operate those social platforms and do not control their moderation decisions, availability, API stability, ranking behavior, or policy enforcement.

You agree to:

• Use the Service in compliance with applicable law and platform rules.
• Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
• Publish only content you have the right to use and distribute.
• Ensure your content complies with each platform's policies and technical limits.
• Not use the Service for spam, scams, phishing, malware, or illegal content.
• Not impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or publish without the account owner's permission.
• Not abuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to bypass security controls, access controls, review requirements, or rate limits.

You remain solely responsible for the content you publish and for the outcomes of publication.

Publishing through PostMantis depends on third-party APIs and platforms.

• Posts may be delayed, rejected, modified, rate-limited, or removed by platforms.
• Platforms may change or revoke API access, permissions, or review approvals.
• A successful API response from PostMantis does not guarantee that content will be published, remain live, or achieve any specific reach or engagement.
• We are not responsible for platform-side failures, moderation decisions, outages, or policy changes outside our control.

Usage limits, technical controls, quotas, and fair use restrictions may depend on your plan, deployment configuration, and connected platform.

We may apply technical controls designed to:

• prevent abuse and suspicious activity,
• reduce the risk of platform enforcement,
• maintain system stability, and
• comply with platform requirements or provider review constraints.

You must not attempt to bypass these limits. We may throttle, restrict, suspend, or terminate usage that creates legal, technical, reputational, or platform-integrity risk.

When you connect a social account, you authorize PostMantis to store and use provider credentials strictly to support connection management, token refresh, scheduling, publishing on your behalf, and reading supported delivery status for content published through the Service.

Depending on the provider and granted scopes, this may include account identifiers, usernames or handles, display names, profile image URLs, provider-side post IDs, publish status, and error details tied to posts published through PostMantis.

You may revoke provider access through the relevant platform, by disconnecting the account, or by ending your use of the Service. Platform-specific revocation and permission behavior may vary by provider.

PostMantis may offer free and paid plans. If you purchase a paid plan, fees may be billed in advance and may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

You may cancel according to the billing controls made available for your account. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable. Failed payments may result in downgraded access, usage restrictions, or suspension.

You retain ownership of the content you submit or publish through PostMantis. You grant us a limited right to process that content solely as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these terms.

The PostMantis name, branding, dashboard, API materials, and documentation are the property of their respective owners and may not be copied, resold, sublicensed, or used to imply endorsement without permission.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• you violate these terms or applicable law,
• your usage creates legal, technical, reputational, or provider-review risk,
• required by law, a platform provider, or a service provider acting lawfully, or
• fees remain unpaid or abuse is detected.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Where available, you may also request account deletion through the dashboard Settings page under Data removal and account deletion. Active paid subscriptions may need to be canceled before deletion can complete. Account deletion removes PostMantis-held account data, but does not automatically remove content already published on third-party platforms. Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no guarantees about uptime, delivery success, platform behavior, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PostMantis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages. Our total liability for claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and may also be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Jurisdiction pending configuration, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
